Dr. Ankit Jain is a senior consultant cardiology and incharge of electrophysiology and pacing in the department of cardiology with an experience of more than 13+ years. He has completed his DM Cardiology from the reputed All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS, Delhi). He was selected by the Asia Pacific heart rhythm society (APHRS) for Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) fellowship which he pursued at the prestigious Taipei Veterans General Hospital, Taiwan under professor Shih-ann chen .He gained extensive experience in the management of complex arrhythmias and radiofrequency ablation specifically for ventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation and genetic arrhythmia syndromes during his fellowship in Taiwan. He worked as Faculty in department of Cardiology at Safdarjung hospital where he successfully performed more than 2500 electrophysiology studies and RFA implanted ICDs and pacemakers, and managed complex cardiac rhythm disorders. He has been instrumental in developing advanced cardiac electrophysiology services and also involved in teaching and research program for DM cardiology students at Safdarjung hospital. He has also done more then 2000 coronary intervention including complex high risk procedures and device closures for congenital heart defects.
