Dr Rachita Chopra

Dr. Rachita Chopra is a skilled Thoracic Surgeon with specialized training in open, VATS, and robotic thoracic procedures. A DrNB Thoracic Surgery graduate from Medanta, she has performed complex lung resections, tracheobronchial surgeries (including tracheal and bronchial sleeve resections), decortications, and surgeries involving the mediastinum, esophagus, and chest wall. She has also been part of Medanta’s lung transplant team, contributing across all phases of care. An MRCS (Edinburgh) and certified ATLS instructor, Dr. Chopra has earned multiple national awards and published extensively. Her additional training includes fellowships in Surgical Gastroenterology, Minimal Access and Robotic Surgery, and a Public Policy program completed with high distinction
