Dr. Rajneesh Kachhara has a rich experience of more than 34 years in the field of neurosurgery. He has been trained from an internationally recognized institute, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Trivandrum, Kerala, in 1994 where he was serving as an associate professor and senior faculty member. He is well experienced in all kinds of brain surgery. His special interest is in skull base and vascular surgery, pituitary tumors, meningiomas, CP angle tumors, other complex brain tumors like intraventricular tumors, microvascular decompression for trigeminal neuralgia, and surgery for intracranial aneurysms. Treating serious head injuries and spinal tumors are also his interest. He had fellowships in skull base surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, USA, The George Washington University, Washington DC and Keio University School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan. From November 2003 to August, 2013, he has worked as senior neurosurgeon and head, department of neurosurgery, Bombay Hospital, Indore. He is credited to establish it as center of excellence for neurovascular surgery and brain tumors. He has many publications to his credit and chapters in books. He has presented his neurosurgical work in various national and international meetings. Recently he has been awarded “Best Brain Surgeon in Madhya Pradesh” by Prime Time Research Media Ltd. at Global Health Care Excellence Awards.
